#Haryana govt asks municipal bodies to call tenders on common website

In order to curb rampant corruption in tender processes across the state, the state government has asked all municipal bodies to carry out the e-tendering process via state’s common websites –    e-tenders.hty.nic.in . Municipal corporations in Gurgaon, Faridabad and Hisar have been issued letters over the non-usage of state’s common website as well as for the calling tenders manually instead.  Apart from these three civic bodies, 32 municipal councils across the state to haven’t invited a single tender under the new set of rules.
