Haryana Hammers moves towards confirming their place in Semis

With the wrestling fever moving to Uttar Pradesh today, the crowd came in full support for their home team. However, when Yogeshwar came on mat, the scenario changed completely and the crowd started cheering for Yogeshwar’s win.

Haryana Hammers emerged victorious 4-3 against UP Warriors in an intense grappling session in the first edition of Pro Wrestling League. Both the teams struggled with all their efforts to get a victory for their team. The final bout between Yogeshwar Dutt and Vikas resulted in Harayana Hammers winning the match.

Haryana Hammers, Livan Lopez Azcuy, Bronze medallist defeated Purvevjav Unurbut of UP Warriors who is a Silver medallist at Las Vegas 2015.

Babita Kumari of UP Warriors was announced as the “Player of the Tie” after defeating Tatyana Kit with a score of 8-6.

Yogeshwar Dutt on the victory, “it feels great to having won all the matches played so far. We are very happy with the kind of performance the team has shown. Nitin who was brought in at the last moment as replacement for Amit Dahiya has proved his worth for the team.”

Bollywood producer and co-owner of Haryana Hammers, Goldie Behl said “Today was a very close game, we were all on the edge of our seats. We won our match today, the team looks extremely confident and I am sure we will win the championship.”
