New Delhi, January 30: Helping Hands, An NGO which helps citizens in Distress of North East India has brought forward a directory, North East Directory with the purpose to assure accelerated & timely help to the Citizens in Distress of North East India
It has also requested citizens of North Eastern living in cities of India and back home/samaritans/ NGOs of other states to register as a volunteer of helping hand.
IPS officer, President of Helping Hands, Robin Hibu said that many times, it gets late to help people on time who are in Distress so we are launching North East Directory.
Robin Hibu said that It came to our notice SOS messages late when we browse our Social Media channels, people are eager to help but either they are on Job or are studying so it gets late to bring forward a helping hand on time hence to combat such difficulties we are bringing forward a directory of North East citizens in cities voluntarily.
Hibu appealed to people from the North-Eastern living in cities of India and back home/samaritans/ NGOs of other states to join hands to help the distressed North Eastern brethren living across the country.
When the helping hand NGO will come across a citizen in distress from North East India, people who have brought forward their helping hands via registering their names for the directory would be immediately alerted following which the registrars can come forward and help.
Robin Hibu further assured that any details provided by the registrars such as your name, number, address will remain safe & secured and would not be given to anyone.
Helping hands provide help to the Citizens of North East States via providing services such as blood donation, Free dead body coffin transportation to the NE States, Medical Concessions at 54 hospitals of Delhi & NCR,
Fund for Cremation & Burial of poor NE people, free Cremation/ Burial services of poor people from NE, Cancer/ Medical Camp for NE poor people and much more. Further it even Empowers Poor & Vulnerable Youth from N.E. India by helping them get scholarships in certain prominent fields of Interest. Recently it had organised a webinar for the civil service exam aspirants .
