New Delhi : Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan turns a year older today and celebrated the day with much joy and fervour with family and friends.

While there were large number of greetings being posted on the social media by the members of film fraternity, his fans also took to social media to send him good wishes as the actor turns 53.

The veteran actor is gearing up for his upcoming film “Bharat” which is scheduled to hit silver screen in June next year. Throwing his hectic schedule away, the star celebrated his birthday at his farmhouse at Panvel in Maharashtra and was joined by his family and close friends.

In another video, the actor can be seen slicing his birthday cake with Ahil in his arms and beloved sister Arpita Khan standing on the right, while his alleged girlfriend Lulia Vantur standing behind.

Apart from acting, the superstar is also an occasional playback singer, film producer and a philanthropist. The prominent actor has received numerous awards, including two National Film Awards as a film producer, and two Filmfare Awards for acting.
