I admire PM Modi’s work, says Aparna Yadav after joining BJP

New Delhi, January 19: In a huge blow to the Samajwadi Party, ahead of assembly elections due next month in Uttar Pradesh, Aparna Yadav, Daughter-in-Law of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Mulayam Singh Yadav joined Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) on Wednesday at BJP headquarters in Delhi.

According to ANI, Aparna Yadav has sought a ticket from the Lucknow Cantt assembly seat.

Aparna Yadav after joining the BJP said, “I am very thankful to BJP. The nation always comes first for me. I admire PM Modi’s work.”

“I have also been influenced with BJP’s works and schemes including Swachh Bharat mission, welfare of women, employment. I will work in my fullest capacity,” she added.

Earlier In the 2017 assembly elections, she had contested from Lucknow Cantt but was defeated by BJP’s Rita Bahuguna Joshi.

Aparna Yadav is the wife of Pratik Yadav, the Younger son of Mulayam Singh Yadav.

In the past, she has praised BJP’s initiatives in the state and had also Donated Rs 11 Lakh for the Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya.

UP assembly polls will be held in seven phases starting February 10, 14, 20, 23, 27, and March 3 and 7; Counting of the polls will be held on March 10.
