I.T.S Engineering College, Greater Noida organized successfully its 4th Alumni Meet “SANKALAN-2015” on Sunday, March 1, 2015. The program began with Lamp Lighting and Saraswati Vandana. Director of the Institute, Dr. Vineet Kansal introduced about the institute to the audience and the pros of organizing Alumni functions. He described that it is an occasion where pass out students get a chance to interact with their old friends and teachers and share their experiences of practical life with their juniors.
Prof. Md. Kamal Asif Khan briefly presented the achievements of the institutes in the past year and discussed the different measures that have been taken to improve the teaching-learning process in the college so that the students get better quality education and the mission of the institute to become an institute of choice is realized. The anchoring as presented by Ms Anjali Shukla and Mr. Harsh Gupta during the events was excellent. The institute also organized a “KAVI SAMMELAN” as an initiative where in famous Hindi poet Dr. Vishnu Saxena and Mr. Chetan Anand were invited to present their collections. The poems presented were mesmerizing and the audience enjoyed the event to their best.
The alumnus attending the event also shared their experiences and skills in the function. For instance, Mr. Ankit, an Alumni said that he is working in a private firm and is working on a certain project in a reputed organization. He also invited others to come and join him in the project and its development. Similarly, another Alumni Ms. Ankita presented a song dedicating it to her teachers and friends. Ambika said that she misses her college days and friends. Another pass out student Sachin said that he extremely misses his hostel life and friends that he enjoyed during his academic stay in the college.
The function was also marked by other events as presented by the students of the institute and that included song and dance presentations and sharing of experiences by the Alumnus outside the college. The function was attended by the faculty members and students and cheered by every single individual. The function also revived the old memory of the students and the faculty alike and every one lived that moment till the end of the function.
The function concluded on a high note and the Alumnus ensured that they will continue to come to the college in attending such events and that if they can be of any help in improving the college life for their juniors.
