IAS officer #AshokKhemka denies reports about central deputation

IAS officer Ashok Khemka, against whom the Bhupinder Singh Hooda government in Haryana had sought a CBI probe, on Tuesday denied a report which claimed that he will be transferred on Central deputation.

The civil services board has approved the whistleblower’s deputation, the report had said.

A news channel, on its Twitter account, has quoted the IAS officer as denying reports about deputation to Prime Minister’s Office and discarding them as media speculation.

The 49-year-old is currently Director General, Archive, in Haryana.

In January, the Haryana government had sought a CBI probe into Khemka’s role in allotment of work for roofing sheets for warehouses.
