Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducted the Mains for Probationary Officer (PO)/ Management Trainee VI on November 20, 2016. The examination concluded the second set of the common recruitment process. The final selection for 8,822 posts of PO across various participating banks would be done on the basis of the final interviews. Candidates who qualify the IBPS PO Main Exam would be called for the Interview. The result awaited for the same is expected to be declared by the last week of December.
Needless to say, the result of the IBPS PO Mains 2016 would hold the maximum weight in the final selection process. Though there is no recent notification, as per the earlier official notification as well as past trends, it can be safely said that the results for IBPS PO Mains would be released by the last week of December. Once the results are declared, the provisional list of candidates would be created and candidates invited for interviews for final selection. A total of 8,822 posts across various national banks would be filled by means of this examination. Also, the validity of the results thus released would be till March 31, 2018 (as per initial notification released by IBPS).
