The introductory plenary session by the Guest of Honour, CA Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman, Aditya Birla Group, commenced on a warm note, as he described being on the dais among fellow Chartered Accountants as a homecoming and spoke about India’s growth story so far and ahead.
In his Piyush Goyal Union Minister elaborated on India’s growth story, highlighting the various Free Trade Agreements entered into under the leadership of PM Modi .
He urged the participants to be bold and equip themselves with the necessary skills to take advantage of global opportunities, especially at the intersection of finance and technology.
He reiterated that this profession has the capacity to protect & sustain the entire economy and support India in becoming a developed nation as well as a global superpower.
