ICC World Cup 2019: How Men in Blue and Arch Rival Pakistan have fared against each other in WC history

In the ICC World Cup 2019, the cricket rivals India and Pakistan will be face-to-face on Sunday. Team India will be hoping to beat Pak for the seventh time in a World Cup match in. India has an unbeatable record against Pak in the World Cup till now.



At the same time, the winner of two times, India has so far faced the opponent Pakistan six times in the World Cup and every time the Indian team has got success. India won the World Cup in 1983 and 2011 while Pakistan won the title in 1992. There was no match between India and Pakistan in 1975, 1979, 1983, 1987. For the first time, both teams clashed in 1992 and the series of victory for India against their neighbors continued till today.

Talking about the current World Cup, India has played three matches so far. Men in Blue have won two, while one match was canceled due to rain. The Indian team is third on the table with five points, while Pakistan have played four matches and have lost two and won one. They also got a match canceled. The Green team is on eighth position with three points.

BBC and SKY are predicting tomorrow’s Pakistan vs India match to have more viewers than the FIFA World Cup final between France and Croatia which had 1.6 billion viewers. Truly the biggest rivalry in Sports history. We are hoping for a scintillating contest if rain doesn’t spoils the party.
