Mumbai (India), 4th April 2023: After the conclusion of Harry Potter film series 12 years ago, a new television series may pick up the legendary wizarding story. Bloomberg’s sources claim that HBO is looking for a deal to completely rewrite the best-selling J.K. Rowling novels.
The idea, at least on paper, is to retell one novel per season by starting over and adapting Harry Potter’s narrative from the very beginning. Theoretically, a seasonal structure with numerous episodes provides for much more depth than the movies could manage given their time constraints.
HBO may very well be prepared to deliver several years’ worth of new Harry Potter content if this specific agreement works out as the business titan prepares for the blockbuster agreement.
The report said, “The company is hoping the series can be one cornerstone of a new streaming strategy that will be announced next week.”
As a consequence, HBO executives are said to have spoken with Rowling directly in an effort to persuade her to agree to a reboot.
Currently the report states that nothing has been put into writing. But if both parties are near to finalising the historic agreement, an announcement might be coming soon.
