New Delhi, 17th July: In an interview with Ten News Network, Chef Manjeet Gill the President of Indian federation of the Culinary Association and the esteemed Advisory Board member of IHE 2022 discussed the India International Hospitality Fair (IHE) 2022.
IHE 2022 is a mega hospitality fair which is scheduled for 3rd to 6th August. Organized by India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, it will be a platform for all the hospitality industry stakeholders to showcase their ideas, innovation and also an opportunity to find partnership for growth and expansion.
Chef Manjeet Gill remarked that this year has witnessed an increase in participation as compared to the previous years, as hospitality is developing and becoming better day by day. The pandemic has affected the F&B and hospitality industry severely, post pandemic there has been a change in trends and process. This will also be an opportunity to learn and gain exposure.
Talking about the future of hospitality and F&B industry, Gill said the F&B and hospitality may widen its scope and take new shape in the near future, it may also follow different aspects; for instance delivery today has gained importance. Though it’s going to be challenging this can be coped only by quality and profitability. So IHE has an important role in learning and understanding this business.
Answering how this year is going to be different in terms of technology, Gill remarked that the event is getting bigger and bigger, the number of participants rising and the scope of learning is widened. Considering this, along with skills, technology should also be used simultaneously.
Mr. Gill further said consistency is very important, when it comes to food, standardisation and quality can never be compromised and this can be achieved only when technology meets creative thinking. Then this business can be multiplied.
Lastly, giving a message for the business visitors Mr. Gill points out that IHE is an opportunity for expanding growth, network and learning.
