New Delhi, 21st July: Shyam Sundar Aggarwal, MD, Bikaner foods recently spoke to Ten News about the prospects of food & beverage industry and 5th India International Hospitality Expo (IHE) 2022.
IHE, one of the biggest Hospitality fairs organized in the country by India Expo Mart, is set to be held in the month of August 2022. It is an opportunity and an ideal platform for all hospitality professionals to learn and exchange ideas and showcase new technology and innovation in the hospitality and f&b industry.
Talking about the scope of the food and beverage industry, Mr. Shyam Sundar Aggarwal says that the food and beverage industry has immense scope to grow better across India and abroad. For instance, the Bikaner has opened its outlet across Dubai, Qatar, and the US. “Through IHE, we gain a lot of knowledge and exposure. IHE is a one-stop destination for vendors and customers both.” He remarks, “IHE is a great platform to generate business and network”.
When Agarwal was asked about the challenges and opportunities of the food and beverage industry, he explained that the scope of opportunity in this industry is infinite. Today, the tradition of cooking food has reduced, and everybody seeks instant packed food or ready-to-eat meal, preferably hygienic. To achieve this, every business person has to upgrade one’s technology, which is in a way a challenge but also an opportunity to grow.
Lastly, the MD of Bikaner foods gives a message and urges all the business professionals to participate in IHE, as it is a great platform to learn. He also recalls his visit to the IHE, the previous year. “IHE always showcases something out of the box, a good platform to expand one’s network,” says Mr. Aggarwal.
