NEW DELHI – 9th December’2020 – The globally acclaimed IHGF Delhi Fair Spring is heading towards its 51st edition, in a “Physical Mode,” at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida from 13-17 March’ 2021. “After worldwide lockdown and considering all circumstantial challenges, we are pressing to bring exhibitors and buyers together back in physical mode. Thus, getting back to having physical presence in the fair,” said, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Director General-EPCH.
Ravi K. Passi, Chairman-EPCH informed that vaccination with respect to COVID-19 has begun in the United Kingdom and with this initiative, the whole world including India is going to be benefited and we hope to resume normal business activities. Elaborating further, he said while handicraft exporting fraternity is concerned about our major marketing initiative i.e. IHGF Delhi Fair-Spring’2021 to be held from 13-17 March, 2020 at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, the COVID vaccine is a positive sign.
Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Director General-EPCH further informed that the last date for submission of application form for IHGF Delhi Fair-Spring’2021 which is presently 15th December, 2020 has now been extended to 31st December, 2020.
The Handicrafts exports during the year 2019-20 was Rs. 25,270.14 crores crores and during 1st six months i.e April-September’2020-21, it has been Rs.9976.13 Crores and USD 1327.74 Million, informed Dr. Kumar
