Ghaziabad (India), April 29, 2023: IMS Ghaziabad hosted the prestigious 14th International Conference on “Re-imagining Business Dynamics: Digital Transformations in Disrupted World (IMSICON-2023)” on April 29, 2023. The event was organised under the patronage of Naresh Agarwal, Chairman, IMS Group of Institutions, and Nitin Agarwal, Managing Trustee, Governing Body, IMS Ghaziabad, and the guidance of Officiating Incharge, Dr. Radhika Malhotra.

The conference aimed to provide a platform for leading corporate practitioners, academic scholars, and researchers to share their experiences, learning, and research related to various aspects of business dynamics in a world full of disruptions and diverse functional domains with the application of digital transformations.

The conference hosted luminaries from academia and the corporate world in thoughtfully crafted keynote, plenary, invited talks, and parallel contributed technical presentation sessions. Students also had the opportunity to present their papers, with a dedicated session organized exclusively for them, and win coveted Best Paper Awards in different technical sessions.

Dr. R K Khandal, Ex-VC, AKTU, graced the event as the chief guest and shared his expertise on the topic. In his address, he said, “It was an excellent opportunity for me to share my expertise. I’m a unique person who has been in academics, industrial research, and the industry itself. I always deliver presentations using whatever I myself learn.”

Dr. Khandal went on to talk about the unique teaching model of Baba Ramdeo, where one teacher has 140 crore followers. He added, “There are two types of disruption: slow gradual disruption and transformational disruption. Technology is one driver of this disruption, which brings disruption. Today, xerox machines are not even required; everything is digitized. The different generations of mobile networks are also a form of disruption.”

Dr. Khandal also talked about the second type of disruption caused by uncontrollable factors such as the COVID-19 pandemic. He said, “COVID definitely taught us that you may have the best hospitals and infrastructure in the world, but ultimately it’s your own strength and immunity that will save you. India, despite its challenges, came out as the most wonderful country defeating the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The 14th International Conference on “Re-imagining Business Dynamics: Digital Transformations in Disrupted World (IMSICON-2023)” was a grand event that fostered learning, exchange of ideas, and academic excellence.
