Inaugural Function of IEEE International Conference at ITS Engg. College Greater Noida

IEEE International Conference on Computer and Computational Sciences (ICCCS-2015) Greater Noida, Tuesday 27 January, 2015: I.T.S Engineering College, one of the Premier Institution in the field of Engineering and Management Education has organized a IEEE International Conference on Computer and Computational sciences (ICCCS-2015) from January 27-29, 2015. The ICCCS-2015 is a major multidisciplinary conference organized with the objective of bringing together researchers, developers and practitioners from academia and industry working in all areas of computer and communication technology. For the conference we have received around 200 papers from India and abroad (from countries like USA, China, Australia, Malaysia, Pakistan, etc). The papers were subjected to relative plagiarism test using plagiarism testing software and 25% were rejected. Out of the selected papers, 60 were registered for presentation (of which 65% are from foreign countries and 35% are from India). In the conference, we have invited guests Prof. Saman Halgamuge from University of Melbourne, Australia and Mr. Ganesh Sahai, Founder Whiztrain India as Keynote speakers for inaugural session and Dr. Mukesh Mohania, IBM Research, India and Mr. Mritunjay Singh, CTO and Cofounder, Spexy for tutorial sessions. Prof. Saman Halgamuge was welcomed with a bouquet of flowers presentation by Vice Chairman Mr. Arpit Chadda and Mr. Ganesh Sahai, Founder Whiztrain, India by Dr. Shailesh Tiwari, HOD-CSE, ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida respectively followed by a welcome speech by Dr. Vineet Kansal, Director, ITS Engineering college. The conference was inaugurated by Honorable guest Prof. Saman Halgamuge who is one of the renowned Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of Melbourne, AUSTRALIA. Prof. Saman Halgamuge and is also the Associate Dean (International) of Melbourne School of Engineering and Director of Melbourne India Postgraduate Program (MIPP) of the University. He has published over 250 research papers and has supervised 27 PhD students. He talked at large about Nature-inspired Pattern Recognition, Big Data Analysis and pattern Recognition in Biology, Supervised and Unsupervised learning and differences semi-supervised learning and Bioinformatics and Computational Biology: Metabolomics, Metagenomics and elaborated using examples of survival of ants, Contractions and Physarum Polycephaleum Mr. Ganesh Sahai who did his B. Tech. from IIT Delhi and EGMP from IIM Lucknow and has been co-founder of many start-up companies in the field of IT, Marketing and Academics. He has been working for Adobe since 1999. He deliberated on Software Testing Context, starting with need of testing taking examples of failures of Titanic, Challenger, Ariane and RBS. Then he elaborated on Quality and testing taking various features like Design, material, System(Processes), and people into account. Then the proceedings of the conference was released by eminent Professors from Dr. A.K. Mishra, MNIT, Allahabad and Dr. N.K. Verma, IIT, Kanpur.
