National, Nov 6, 2022: Blistering half centuries by KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav helped India put up 186/5 in their final Super 12 match against Zimbabwe on Sunday.
KL Rahul scored 51 runs off 35 balls. Meanwhile, Yadav remained unbeaten at 61 from 25 balls.
Chasing the 187 runs target, Zimbabwe batsmen fell quickly with the exception of Sikandar Raza (34 off 24 balls) and Ryan Burl (35 off 22 balls).
Ravichandran Ashwin picked up 3 wickets for India. Meanwhile, Mohammad Shami and Hardik Pandya picked up 2 wickets each.
Next, New Zealand will face Pakistan in the 1st semi-final game of the tournament on November 9. India will play England in the 2nd semi-final on November 10.
