India is keen to provide 24×7 power to all the citizens: ISA

To provide a boost to the Indian Solar industry, CII on Friday organised a seminar titled India and the International Solar Alliance with International Solar Alliance (ISA) in New Delhi &concluded that Union government is really keen to provide 24×7 power to all the citizens of the nation and would also fulfill the dream and expectations of PM Modi.

The objective of the seminar was to cater to the energy needs of Indian Solar industry and to promote universal energy access and reduce electricity costs and tariffs through introduction and promotion of mini, micro, and nano grids with smart features for harnessing solar power, in a time bound manner.

Seminar also concluded that, it is an attempt to address the challenges in integrating solar energy into insular or unconnected electricity grids.
