“India lost 10 important years 2004-2014 in scams and corruption,” Says PM Modi at BJP National Convention in Delhi!

New Delhi:(12/01/2019 Addressing the Bhartiya Janata Party’s National Executive meeting Saturday, PM Modi remembered the former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee saying, “This is the first National Convention without Atal Ji.” He also said that the Quota bill introduced by the government is brought ‘to ensure equality’.

Attacking the Congress party, PM Modi said, “The government before us pushed the country into darkness. It won’t be wrong if I say that India lost 10 important years (2004-2014) in scams and corruption.” The two-day event, which began Friday, was organised with an aim to lay final guidelines for thousands of party leaders for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The event was inaugurated on Friday by party chief Amit Shah and the Prime Minister, who is to conclude the executive meeting with his valedictory address today.



He further said, “There is a Common Process, and there is a Congress Process.The Congress Process encouraged favouritism, corruption, nepotism and compromised India’s welfare.After coming to power, we transformed the processes and the results are for everyone to see.”

“It has happened for the first time in the history of the country that a government that came into power with absolute majority hasn’t been accused of corruption. We can take pride in the fact that there is no taint on us.”

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath at BJP National Convention in Delhi said, “Within 1.5 yrs, UP govt has given houses to 18 lakh poor individuals
, irrespective of their caste or religion, under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Under SP govt, only 63,000 houses were built in 5 years of rule.”

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said, “Congress ka shehzada ho, Bengal ki didi ho, Andhra Pradesh ke babu ho, UP ki behenji ho, sab dil mein ichcha rakhte hain aur sabki talwarein chunaav ke baad niklengi.”
