India slated to become 5 Trillion Dollar Economy by 2025, Says Ramesh Abhishek, DIPP Secy

New Delhi: India and Taiwan has established strong industrial, economic and cultural

interaction and cooperative relationship over the past many years. In response to the global
development of innovative technology and in order to strengthen the cooperation in
innovation as well as discovering related business
opportunities. The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and CNFI (Taiwan’s
Federation of Industries) jointly hosted 2nd India-Taiwan Industrial Collaboration Summit on Wednesday at FICCI in New Delhi.

 

On the occasion, Ramesh Abhishek, Secretary, DIPP, Govt. Of India, said,

“Today we are 2.5 trillion dollar economy slated to become almost 5 by 2025. Our GDP growth rates are the highest amongst the major economies. And the growth will go only up for because in last whatever handicapped and obstacles we have seen true unlocking the potential of true economy, the government is workings has been assisted and working to address those obstacles.”

He further said, “Infrastructure has been one of the issues. The high cost of logistics has been one if the issue. Today government is investing record amount of money on building highways, Railways, Ports, postal shipping as you name it. And the projects have been implemented on time, our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is montering the timely completion of the important infrastructural projects in the country.”

Talking about Taiwan Collaborating with India, Abhishek said, “We assure full efforts to do business in india. And we are fully behind this effort as we welcome you and we will make sure that you will have a smoother journey for doing business in india.”
