New Delhi, Nov 20, 2022: India defeated New Zealand by 65 runs on Sunday, to take a 1-0 lead in the ongoing T20I series.
Suryakumar Yadav’s stunning form continues as he smashed an unbeaten 111 runs off 51 balls helping India score 191/6 in 20 overs. For New Zealand, bowler Tim Southee completed a hattrick as he scalped the wickets of Hardik Pandya, Deepak Hooda, and Washington Sundar in consecutive deliveries.
Chasing the target, New Zealand were all out for 126 runs in 18.5 overs. For India, Deepak Hooda took three wickets in the 19th over as he displayed exceptional figures of 4/10 in 2.5 overs.
The third and final T20 match of the series is set to take place on the 22nd of November at McLean Park Stadium.
