On International platforms Pakistan wants to eliminate terrorism but at home supports terrorists by helping them in their activities against India – A strange way

The Pakistan Prime Minister in one of his speeches in UN said that they are against terrorism since they are facing a number of terrorist attacks within the country, killing innocent people and destroying property. He quoted the incident which happened in one of the schools in Peshawar where large number of students were killed by terrorists. He asked for financial aid from USA and other countries to counter those terrorists. All the same terrorists from Pakistan are trying to infilter into India to create troubles and those people belong to terrorists group who are being trained in Pakistan with their help. They hold advance camps very close to the Indo – Pak border from where they try to slip into India. Recently after Uri attack Indian troops successfully carried out a surgical operation to eliminate some of such camps. If Govt. of Pakistan had no hand in raising the advance camps, they should have been happy on their elimination and would have thanked India for their help.

But instead they have allowed the terrorists leaders in Pakistan to talk ill about India and threatened to carry out nuclear attack. Moreover the Pakistan Govt. too have moved their troops close to the border and carried out cross border firing in many sectors reflecting their resentment against this surgical operation, though maintaining that no such operation took place which India claims to have carried out.

It has resulted in lot of agitations in India asking for imposing restrictions against Pakistan and even asking Pakistan artists working in India to leave the country, whereas they have no say in the matter. The action of Pakistan Govt. is unnecessarily inviting troubles and creating ill will in the minds of the people of the two countries who want peace.

People must understand that India has not attacked Pakistan but have carried out an operation to weed out terrorists who are often trying to infiltrate into India and cause unnecessary damage. If Pakistan Govt. is really interested in eliminating terrorism they should appreciate the precise action taken by India and bring normalcy in relations between the two countries through negotiations. They should stop all cross border firing and stop all anti-India propaganda being carried out in Pakistan by the terrorists, warning them of the consequences which they are likely to face. They should stop all assistance being rendered to the terrorists.
