New Delhi (India), 3rd April 2023: Ishaan Khattar, will be appearing in the Netflix limited series “The Perfect Couple” alongside Hollywood stars Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Dakota Fanning, and others. The actor announced the project on Instagram on Sunday.
The post featured the main cast for the Netflix series that is an adaptation of the book “The Perfect Couple” by Elin Hilderbrand. Ishaan portrays the best buddy of the groom in the television programme. Ishaan captioned the post as “New Beginnings”
The news was also shared by Netflix, who tweeted, “The Perfect Couple casting is actually perfect.”
In response, Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput wished her brother-in-law Ishaan Khatter on behalf of her children Misha and Zain Kapoor and gave him a shout-out. “Cannot wait!” she responded. “Congratulations, chachu (uncle).”
Earlier, Variety claimed that Liev Schreiber, Eve Hewson, Billy Howle, Dakota Fanning, Meghann Fahy, Ishaan Khattar, Jack Reynor, Sam Nivola, Mia Isac, Donna Lynne Champlin, and Isabelle Adjani had all been cast in the show.
Nicole will play the mother of the groom in the show.Liev will play Tag Winbury, the groom’s Father, while Eve will play the bride. Ishaan will be seen as Shooter Dival, the groom’s best friend.
Ishaan previously appeared in Mira Nair’s Netflix film “A Suitable Boy” (2020). His last acting job was in the 2022 movie Phone Bhoot, which also starred Siddhant Chaturvedi and Katrina Kaif.
