#ITBP launches dedicated Recruitment Portal

New Delhi, 13^th January, 2016 :- For simplifying and digitizing the recruitment applications and to provide recruitment related information online, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) launches a dedicated recruitment portal for the aspirants. Sh. Krishna Chaudhary, DG ITBP launched this portal in an informal meeting held for the purpose at Force HQ in New Delhi today.

ITBP is the first to launch the dedicated recruitment Portal amongst Central Armed Police Forces.

During the occasion, Sh. Chaudhary said that the Portal will help candidates to file their applications online for various vacancies offered by the Force.

Hosted by NIC, the website is available on URL-  http://www.recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in/ Various information related to career opportunities, vacancies, results etc in ITBP  will be available on the website. Online applications for various posts can be submitted through the Portal in an easy manner.

Raised in 1962, the ITBP primarily guards 3488 KMs mountainous frontiers at BOPs along Indo-China Border on altitudes ranging from 9000 ft to 18700 ft. Presently, having approximate strength of 90,000 strong personnel, the ITBP is also deployed for  anti naxal operations and other Internal Security duties.
