Hong Kong-based smartphone company itel launches three mobile phones with driving mode feature, priced between Rs 5799 to 8499
New Delhi: Eyeing to the rural smartphone users and seeing huge huge growth on rural economy, a Hong Kong-based mobile phone company Itel launched three smartphone S42, A44 and A44 Pro with surprising features at amazing price in Delhi today.
Three smartphones – S42 and A44 will be available across the markets from March 20, 2018 at a price of Rs 8,499 and Rs 5,799 respectively, and A44 Pro will hit the market around mid-April.
Moreover, citing marketing strategy, the company has decided not to sell their products on e-commerce websites.
Transsion Group is the parent company of itel and it focus on manufacturing and delivering value smartphones. The company hit the Indian market on April 2016 and as per their claim they have around three crore customer base.
While speaking during the launch, Managing Director of TRANSSION India, Marco Ma, said, “Itel has emerged as the second largest player in the overall mobile phone market in India by capturing 9 per cent market share for the year 2017, registering an exponential growth of 217% year-on-year as per industry report.”
He further said, “In today’s day and age consumers are focused on maximising their smartphone experience and are looking for high performance smartphones. The latest smartphone portfolio from itel is based on the promise of “Fuller Experience” to deliver an unparalleled ownership value to the consumers and we’re sure that it will exceed the expectations in the relevant segment.”
