ITPO to invest Rs 2250 Crores for its redevelopment project

The most ambitious re-development project of India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) of over Rs 2250 cr estimated Integrated Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) is expected to be completed in record time of less than three years. LC Goyal, Chairman and Managing Director of ITPO released the layout and design of IECC today. Releasing the layout and design, Goyal said that IECC will have the latest architectural design along with a large parking space of 4,800 vehicles in the basement.
ITPO also has plans to monetize part of the land for a 500-key hotel as part of the redevelopment.
The construction of the Integrated project is expected to commence from July this year and completed in phases. Goyal said that all the approvals, except the environmental clearance, required for commencing the construction is in place, and the environment clearance is also expected soon for the project.
Rakesh an employer of Urban development Ministry, said, it’s a good initiative taken by authorities and will boost the economy of the capital.
It will also cover smartcity project for the development of nation’s capital, he added.
