Greater Noida, 29 August 2025: The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of I.T.S Engineering College, Greater Noida organized Intra Institutional Start-ups Competition and Rewarding the Start-ups on 29th Aug 2025. The event aimed to encourage student-led innovation and entrepreneurship, Provide mentorship and feedback through industry experts and start-up founders, Recognize and reward the most promising start-up ventures and strengthen the start-up culture within the campus ecosystem. Dr. Mayank Garg, President of IIC-ITSEC and Director of I.T.S Engineering College, delivered the inaugural address. He emphasized the significance of innovation in driving economic and social growth and applauded the efforts of the IIC in creating platforms for young entrepreneurs. He motivated the students to embrace risk-taking, problem-solving, and critical thinking as essential elements of entrepreneurship. Start-up Evaluators Ankit Sharma, CEO of UPROI Digital Pvt. Ltd., and Dev Khanduja, Founder of Intelligentia Labs Pvt. Ltd., shared valuable insights with the participants on how to effectively pitch a start-up idea. They discussed the essential components of a compelling pitch deck, strategies to engage angel investors and venture capitalists, and best practices for delivering impactful presentations. Drawing from their own entrepreneurial journeys, they candidly spoke about the challenges they faced, mistakes they made during their initial pitches, and how they eventually overcame those hurdles to successfully secure funding for their ventures. Following the interactive session, both evaluators assessed the pitches of all participating start-ups and provided constructive feedback. They concluded by encouraging all teams to keep refining their ideas and to stay persistent in their entrepreneurial pursuits.
The Intra-Institutional Start-up Competition, organized by IIC-ITSEC on 29th August 2025, was a resounding success. It fulfilled its objective of nurturing innovation, encouraging start-up culture, and recognizing entrepreneurial talent within the institution. The enthusiastic participation of students and the expert guidance of seasoned entrepreneurs ensured that the event made a lasting impact on the campus innovation ecosystem.
