IYC gifted huge spectacles to Dharmendra Pradhan since as petroleum minister he is not able to see the hardship caused to common man due to daily rise in petrol& diesel price.

Delhi: 15 September 2017(Today): Petrol & Diesel prices are rising every day. “I will not interfere” is the blanket statement of Petroleum Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan meaning he doesn’t care.

“I WILL NOT INTERFERE“- is the remark of our Oil Minister Mr Dharmendra Pradhan, on a continuous rise in petrol prices. It is shocking to have such an insensitive comment coming from a Union Minister, who has been bestowed with the responsibility of an important portfolio.

The Indian Youth Congress on behalf of people of this country demands to know:

Why is he not able to see what hardship a common man is facing?

Why is he not able to see the petrol & diesel price graph scaling new high every month?

Why is he not able to see fall in international crude oil price?

Why is he not able to see common man’s suffering dues to a steep increase in price?

WHY IS HE NOT ABLE TO SEE?

Since he is not able to see,

Youth Congress workers marched to present a pair of huge glasses to Mr Dharmendra Pradhan on losing his eyesight due to which he is unable to see this agony of common man due to the constant rise in Petrol prices! But the police stopped the peaceful representation of Youth Congress workers much ahead of the residence of Petroleum Minister.

“Mr Pradhan please use these spectacles and see the reality, see the common man’s suffering, see the fall in international crude oil price….. See the plight of Common man and immediate measure to control the exorbitant rise of Petrol Diesel price.”

If the minister fails to see the plight and take corrective measures, Youth Congress will be forced to take the protest to next level across India.

The symbolic protest was led by IYC Secretaries Pratibha Raghuvanshi, Jebi Mather, Serifa Rahman, Amarish Ranjan Pandey and DPYC Office-bearers.
