New Delhi (16/12/2019): All India Mahila Sanskritik Sangathan along with All India Democratic Students Sangathan today performed a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar and demanded government to consider their concerns on the major issues that are silently damaging the nation from inside.
Speaking to Ten News, Ritu Kaushik said, “It has become a trend today for rapists to perform this inhumane act and burning the victim alive after she tries to escape. Indian politicians are concerned about things like CAB, Temples and other issues that won’t affect the living of public but, they are all careless for such activities that are highly booming in the nation like rape, alcohol, drugs and many such things which are the major concerns today.”
Commenting on the Jamia incident, she added, “I am myself an alumni of Jamia and we all stand with them as they are all demanding some changes and being a democratic country, Indians have right to show their concern and demands in front of government but Police started laathicharge without any physical activity geared up Jamians.”
“Citizenship Amendment Act is just another step taken by government that is going to be proved the worst step taken till date”, she added.
