Janakpuri MLA took meeting with West Zone SDMC officials

Janakpuri New Delhi 17th Feb 2015: Newly elected Aam Aadmi Party, MLA from Janak Puri Shri Rajesh Rishi, started his work today by taking up a meeting with officials of SDMC West Zone. In this meeting SDMC Head of department, official and other staff are present, in this meeting all HOD offered a flower bouquet assuring him throughout support to him from SDMC prospective.
On this occasion former Councillor from Janakpuri Shri Sanjey Puri, in-charge of ward no 118 Shri Alok Singh, AAP’s RWA Janakpuri coordination Shri N K Sharma was also present.
During the meeting Shri Rajesh Rishi addressed officials of SDMC that he is no way concerned what happened in past, but in future we all should join hands to work in public interest. In Delhi after getting historic support from all over the city we are serious in regard to our responsibilities & concerned about public welfare, I expect from SDMC officials that they will be equally take responsibility to perform best.
One thing he categorically mentioned is that the budget which is spent for the people should be spent as per the priority of works which people demand and decide. The budget will not be spent just to consume it at the end of the financial year; it should be productive expenditure only.
In the meeting former councillor Shri Sanjey Puri raised the matter of incomplete work of granite stone benches, on this matter Shri Rajesh Rishi issued instructions to the civil department that no one have right to stall those work which are in public interest, further instructed to complete the work which are pending at the earliest.
He also expressed his dissatisfaction regarding worst condition of sanitation in ward no. 120 (Sita Puri), he instructed sanitation department to immediately work on the issue.
New MLA also issued instructions to Electrical Department to immediately repair all lights in SDMC Park and table the report. Horticulture department is instructed to rework on maintenance of parks, pruning of plants & maintenance of submersible water pumps of parks.
