JD(U) #Haryana president booked for illegal mining, mined material seized from his Gurgaon farmhouse
Rao Kamalbir Singh, the Janata Dal-United president in Haryana, has been booked for storing illegally mined material in his farmhouse at Gairatpur Baas village in Gurgaon.
A case was registered against Kamalbir, a resident of Gurgaon and younger brother of Haryana cabinet minister Rao Narbir Singh, under various sections of the Indian Penal Code at the Badshahpur police station on Wednesday.
Acting on a complaint, police, along with mining department officials, conducted a raid at Kamalbir’s farmhouse in Gairatpur Bass village and recovered a large quantity of stones and dust from there.
