Jesus and Mary Convent School, Gr. Noida celebrated Grand Parents Day

The programme started with a Prayer Dance to invoke the blessings of the almighty. Various programmes were showcased by the students to make the younger generation realize the role of Grandparents in our lives.The programme showed the various roles that Grandparents play in our lives from storytelling, instilling ethnic heritage, historian, teaching values, passing on family tradition.The Chief Guest of the occasion Dr. R.S. Nirjar, an architect of Indian education system congratulated the students for their wonderful performance and encourage them to Concentrate on family and moral values .Speaking on the occasion the Principal of the School Rev. Fr. Sebastian Kollithanam said that the programme was very humble attempt to express our love for our Grand Parents and to understand that they are the pillars of our bridge to the future. The programme ended with a thanks giving hymn.
