 Jesus and Mary Convent School Greater Noida organized Mother’s Day function on 15^th May to celebrate the spirit of Motherhood. City magistrate Mr. Bacchu Singh graced the function as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Rev. Father Sebastian said that the function was a humble attempt by the school to honor the Mother who symbolizes selfless love and affection. Appreciating the school’s efforts, The Chief Guest said that every child needs to be educated about the sacrifices their mother’s make, to ensure a better future for them.The function started with a prayer dance invoking the blessings of the almighty’s followed by a heart rendering performance by the students to make their mother’s feel special. An engaging skit, vibrant dance performances and a comical play were the added attractions of the event. The idea was to make every child understand the importance of mother in a participative style. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Head Boy of the school, Deepraj Misra who on behalf of the students expressed gratitude to their mothers.
