Jetking to boost government’s ‘BetiBachao, BetiPadhao’ initiative to encourage women to join IT

Education is a milestone of women empowerment because it enables them to respond to the challenges, to confront their traditional role and change their life. India is poised to becoming superpower, a developed country by 2020. Women constitute almost half of the population in the world. But the hegemonic masculine ideology made them suffer a lot as they were denied equal opportunities in different parts of the world.

Keeping in mind that Education amongst women is a pressing demand, JetkingInfotrain Ltd, India’s leading computer hardware and networking training institute announces JetkingBetiShikshaYojna. The institute is launching the program from the 18^th of January, 2016 and also promises a 100% Job

Given that growth of women’s education in rural areas is very slow, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of SavitribaiPhule, Jetking will aim at providing a 30% discountin line with the government’s ‘BetiBachao, BetiPadhao’ campaign. This initiative aims to assist economically weak girls to pursue a career in the IT field. Mr. Siddarth Bharwani, Vice President, JetkingInfotrain Limited said “Education of women is the most powerful tool to change their position in society. Our intention through this initiative is to also bring reduction in inequalities and functions as a means of improving their status within the family. This initiative by Jetking is in continuation to the EFA programme that was launched in 2002 by the Government of India after its 86th Constitutional Amendment made education from age 6-14 the fundamental right of every Indian child. But the position of girl’s education is not improving according to determined parameter for women hence our idea is to ensure that a job is guaranteed to each one who takes up the course.”

India is poised to emerge as one of the most developed nations by 2020, more literate, knowledgeable and economically at the forefront and this is the initiative towards the same goal.
