Jewar Gang Rape Victim Attempts Suicide

On of the four women who was allegedly gang raped during the robbery and murder committed on night of 24th May today tried to commit suicide.

The 50 year old victim tried to hang herself from the ceiling when her daughter raised an alarm.

The victim says that there has been no breakthrough in this case and she is feeling cheated by the administration after they refused to believe the atrocities committed on her and doubted the allegations of rape.

She says, "At this age why would I lie. Why isn’t police catching the culprit to bring forward the truth. How will I live in this society after such tormenting experience at this age and then also being called a liar. We have also not received any compensation or help from the government".
