The tragic news of her death shocked the nation just as everyone thought she was about to make it to the big leagues.
Jiah Khan was found down dead in her Mumbai home on June 2, 2013. The actress from Housefull committed suicide by hanging herself from her bedroom fan. She was just 25 when she took the unfortunate step.
Rabia, Jiah’s mother, made the tragic claim that Jiah’s then-boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi made her committed suicide. She made serious accusations against the actor, the son of a well-known Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi.
Jiah’s mother claimed that Sooraj abused her daughter verbally and physically while they were dating. She allegedly fell into depression as a result.He was later arrested on charges of aiding and abetting suicide.
In the midst of the publicity of Jiah Khan’s passing case last decision, Sooraj Pancholi’s family, who remained by their child, is both positive and anxious about the last decision. According to reports in TOI, the parents of the Satellite Shankar star are eagerly awaiting the verdict, which is expected to be announced tomorrow morning at 10.30 am at a special session court in Mumbai.
Throughout the turbulent period Suraj has insisted that he is innocent. Even after ten years the accused claims that he isn’t the monster that the media has painted him to be, he said in a statement, “I don’t blame the people who call me names, because that’s how I have been portrayed in public, but I’m not the monster that has been portrayed in headlines.”
