Jio Studios announces massive Content Slate with 62 titles, signs biggest names of Bollywood

Mumbai (India), 14th April 2023: The most extensive slate of new films and online series ever produced by an Indian studio has been unveiled by Jio Studios. The production business claims to have over 100 new projects in development, but as of right now, only 62 have been teased.

These films will be in a variety of languages and genres and will include actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, R Madhavan, Kriti Sanon, Shraddha Kapoor, Randeep Hooda, and others.

For the time being, none of them have a specific release date, but they will all be distributed equally between OTT and theatres. A sizzle trailer for Jio Studios’ upcoming films and television programmes was also released, with all of the programming eventually scheduled to appear on the JioCinema app.

She further added, “Our vision is to power stories that are from, by and for India and Bharat, tell stories that not only entertain but also have a purpose, partner with storytellers in every Indian language and take these stories mainstream.”

With movies and TV shows available in Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Bhojpuri, and what the press release refers to as the “South,” Jio Studios is set to rule the regional market as well. A multi-year partnership with SVF Entertainment was also announced in order to usher in a “new era of blockbusters” in Bengali cinema.
