Joker trailer: A failed comedian transforms to Gotham city villain

The trailer of the much-awaited Hollywood film ‘Joker’ is out on the internet. The look of the clown villain is surely going to give you chill down your spine, he is full of madness.

The trailer showcases the life of Joker or Arthur Fleck played by Joaquin Phoenix, whose failure as a stand-up comedian leads him to transform into a villain of Gotham City. The film is aimed at highlighting the origin story of the most elusive character Joker.

Joaquin, who faces rejection in his career and gets mocked by people, slowly turns into a maniac as a famous titular clown we all know.

The clown is also shown interacting with Robert De Niro who can be seen in the role of a mysterious TV host and with Brett Cullen’s Thomas Wayne who punches the Joker in the face. It basically gives a glimpse into the basic structure of the film that shows how the clown rises from his fall and sets in a clown-mask-clad revolution.

The film cast stars Joaquin in the main lead, and Dante Pereira-Olson as the young Bruce Wayne. Also, it includes Douglas Hodge, who will be seen essaying the role of Bruce’s butler Alfred Pennyworth.

It will be quite interesting to watch the psychological thriller where the making of Joker, the most dreaded villain of the Gotham city will be showcased in detail. His encounter with his enemy Batman will be even more fascinating.

The trailer was also shared on the official Twitter handle of the film, it wrote, “New trailer. #JokerMovie – in theaters October 4, this tweet to be the first to hear about exclusive content leading up to the opening weekend.”

The film directed by Todd Phillips is written by the director along with Scott Silver. It is slated to be released on October 4, 2019.
