Karan Johar Shares Cryptic Post on Punctuality, targets anonymous late comer

Mumbai (India), 1st April 2023: In an Instagram post on Monday, famous Bollywood film director and producer Karan Johar penned down an aggressive statement on punctuality. The filmmaker didn’t elaborate or give any context and left netizens wondering about the incident and the person that might have led to such a fuming message.

In the cryptic post the ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ director wrote, “So…. The wonderful thing about Punctuality is that it doesn’t require a natural talent, a degree or even a parental or an employers sanction…. It’s NOT an art form that we inherit through generations…. It’s simple basic manners….respect for other people’s time and therefore respecting them as well.”

He further added, “Pure unadulterated respect Landing up 15 minutes late without a murmur of an apology or an overcompensating happy visage reeks of entitlement and defensiveness.”

The scathing remarks didn’t stop here and Johar further wrote, “Messaging ‘on my way’…. Doesn’t get you off the hook either…. ‘On my way ‘…. So ??? You are meant to be … you ain’t doing me any favours honey! And you sending me this message sans details is as ambiguous as a Nolan film…Then the worst! ‘oh… I forgot!!!! ‘ why MR president ????”

He asked the person to whom the message was directed to not give pathetic excuses of ‘traffic’ and living in a country like India one must be aware of the traffic problems.

The director concluded his message by jotting down, “The very very worst one is when they don’t show up and don’t even send a message with a grovelling apology! This last sect of time offenders must me struck off your list forever.”

Karan’s post immediately garnered attention from netizens and Bollywood stars alike. Farah Khan Ali, Shamita Shetty, Ronit Roy, Kajol etc. quickly took to the comments and responded to the post.
