Kashmiri students beaten up in Ghaziabad college

A couple of Kashmiri students were allegedly beaten up by seniors in the hostel of a Ghaziabad college, apparently over a petty dispute, earlier this week.

It’s the third instance this year of Kashmiri students being harassed in universities in UP-NCR. Last month, a private university in Greater Noida expelled two students after three Kashmiri students accused them of harassment. In March, Kashmiri students were involved in a standoff with others at another private university in Noida over an India-Pakistan match.
