Katy Perry to Perform in King Charles’ Coronation Ceremony Concert

New Delhi (India), 15th April 2023: The day following the Coronation ceremony, on Sunday, May 7, “Firework” singer Katy Perry will perform her greatest hits in front of 20,000 spectators in the grounds of Windsor Castle.
The concert’s organiser have stated that the programme will centre on themes of positivity, love, and respect.
Katy Perry has stated that she is “excited” to be performing and that she hopes “to shine a further light” on issues that affect children all over the world.
The lineup also includes Freya Ridings, whose successes include “Lost without you” and “Castles.”The band Take That, who in the 1990s and 2000s scored 12 number one singles, will perform live together for the first time in four years.
Gary Barlow, the band’s lead singer, is very connected to the Royal family because he wrote a song in 2012 to honour the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. They declared they “can’t wait” to play once more and assured the audience that military drummers will be present.
American singer Lionel Ritchie, who had numerous significant singles in the 1980s including the party anthem “Dancing on the ceiling,” is another prominent name on the list.
Legendary opera singers from Italy and Wales, Sir Bryn Terfel and Andrea Bocelli, will each perform classical music.
We already know that a unique Coronation Choir composed of vocal ensembles from throughout the UK will be present to perform at the occasion.
