Kejriwal cannot escape from accountability to the people of Delhi for wasteful expenditures: Congress

New Delhi: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee spokespersons Ramakant Goswami and Jitender Kumar Kochar former Leader of the House in the MCD, appealed to the Lt. Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal to stop the tax payers’ money being squandered by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on advertisements for self publicity.



They accused Kejriwal of thriving on advertisements without doing any concrete work for the benefit of the people and for the development of Delhi. They said that Kejriwal should concentrate on the development of Delhi instead of wasting public money on advertisements.

They Further said that all the development works in Delhi were carried out by the Congress Government under the Chief Ministeriship of Sheila Dikshit during her uninterrupted 15-year rule in
the Capital.

Ramakant Goswami and Jitender Kumar Kochar, taking note of the
six-six page advertisements released by the Kejriwal Government in the
newspapers today for self promotion of himself and the Aam Aadmi Party by
spending crores of rupees of the tax payers’ money, said that the people of
Delhi have seen through the devious methods of the AAP Government and
will ask for accountability from Kejriwal for the misuse of the public money.
