New Delhi: The alleged assault of the Delhi chief secretary Anshu Prakash took a new turn on Wednesday when AAP, MP alleged that Delhi police is acting like a puppet and demanded to public the CCTV footages of Delhi Secretariat incident.
While addressing a press conference at party office, AAP, MP, Sanjay Singh said, “Delhi police is not taking any action on the secretariat incident where a minister Imran Hussain, his staff and AAP leader Ashish Khetan had been manhandled and thrashed by the alleged staffs, however, police is acting on a formal complaint of Chief Secretary. It is a step-motherly treatment with us.”

Central government is constantly trying to hamper our functioning since the formation of AAP government in Delhi. “Without any FIR, how Delhi police arrested two of the AAP MLAs Amanatullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal?”
Taking a jibe over Union government’s intention with the AAP, Sanjay Singh said, “Balwan Maarta Bhi hai aur rone bhi nahi deta.” Central government is constantly targeting us.
Commenting over the alleged scuffle at Arvind Kejriwal’s residence on Monday, in which Delhi chief secretary Anshu Prakash was allegedly abused and thrashed by AAP MLAs, Sanjay Singh said, “First of all, meeting was at 10 pm, he reached 12 pm. Later, when he had been asked about the swiftly distribution of 2.5 lakh PDS beneficiaries, he irked and they have exchanged heated argument but not assault.”
Hitting back to Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s tweet he said, “He is pained when an IAS officer alleged for assault and immediately sought a report but when a Delhi government minister Imran Hussain, his staff and AAP leader Ashish Khetan manhandled and thrashed in Delhi secretariat by staffs, he not said a word on it.” Singh asserted.
Following the event, senior AAP leader Ashutosh said that on December 2017, AAP MLA had wrote a letter to Chief Secretary about the ill-functioning of PDS centres and asked for immediate redressal but no action had been taken.
While showing the letter he said, “Around 2.5 lakh families have not been getting ration because of ill-functioning of the PDS system. A letter was also written in this regard but when he had been questioned about it at CM office on Monday he irked.”
“The matter has been highlighted to divert the media attention from ongoing banking corruption cases.” He added.
Hitting back to Delhi BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari’s comment of Urban Naxalism and Terrorists, Ashutosh said, “If AAP leaders are terrorist then what about the BJP leaders who humiliated a lady IAS officer in Gorakhpur and Meerut which went viral recently. He should comment on that too.”
