Lethal Arms Training Camps organized by VHP and Bajrang Dal alleges Assam Congress

The Bajrang Dal and Viswa Hindu Parishad as a part of their organisational work in Assam, recently imparted Arms training to their workers at Nalbari and Hojai in Assam by violating the rule of law, alleged President of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee, Ripun Bora in New Delhi on Friday.
Despite that, both organisations had committed serious offence by imparting arms training and other lethal weapon trainings to their workers, in fact it is nothing but inciting and encouraging extremist activity, he added.

Speaking on the Assam government’s accountability on the issue, he said most unfortunate part is that the state government’s Police and intelligence department has totally failed to get advance information of such training.

The entire footage of such arms training had been widely highlighted in media in Assam, inspite of that the Assam government has not taken any action, he alleged.
