LG DELHI SHTI NAJEEB JUNG APPEALS ALL TO SERVE THE NATION WITH GREATER VIGOUR AND COMMITMENT

Ø LG: “As we remember those who sacrificed their lives for our great Nation, our true tribute to their memory would be to steadfastly walk in the path of righteousness”

On the occasion of the 69th Independence Day of the Nation, the Lt. Governor Shri Najeeb Jung, together with officers and staff of the Lt. Governor’s Secretariat, participated in the Independence Day celebrations at the Raj Niwas at 10 AM on 15th August 2015.

On this occasion, Shri Jung hoisted the Flag at the Raj Niwas and received the Guard of Honour and greeted the officers and staff present.

In his address to the officers and staff, he exhorted all present to renew their pledge to serve the Nation with greater vigour, sincerity and commitment.

Shri Jung said, “As we remember those who sacrificed their lives for our great Nation, our true tribute to their memory would be to steadfastly walk in the path of righteousness.”

On this occasion, he reminded all present of the importance of India’s Constitution. He said, “It is an unparalleled document and we must abide by it and live up to the ideals envisaged by the architects of our great Constitution.”

He offered his warm wishes to all on the occasion of India’s 69th Independence Day.
