“Light India & EBTI 2018” International exhibition inaugurated by Union Minister Suresh Prabhu

New Delhi: “Light India & EBTI 2018” International exhibition, was inaugurated by Union Minister Suresh Prabhu at Pragati Maidan today.

The country’s foremost trade fair on lighting and building automation, scheduled from 11th of October to 13th of October, was inaugurated by Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation, Government of India.

The pioneer brands in the vanguard of fields like lighting, electrical engineering, home and building automation will unveil the artistic yet innovative and hi-tech solutions that can help leverage many Government initiatives to build a smart, savvy and resourceful country.

At the occasion, Dr. Harsh Vardhan also addressed the organisations that were participating in the exhibition. Dr. Harsh Vardhan is the incumbent Minister of Science & Technology, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Ministry of Earth Sciences in the BJP-led NDA government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He represents Chandni Chowk in Delhi as a Member of Parliament in the 16th Lok Sabha.

Ten News spoke with various companies that had their stalls to show their commendable work. One of them was “Covestro”, a brand that provides thermally conductive materials for heat management in LED lighting and beyond.
Covestro not only produces products for home lightings but also provides lighting materials to Maruti Suzuki and many other automobile industries.

Featuring first time exhibitors and industry giants, Light India and EBTI 2018 will become a designated platform where attendees can connect to the exhibitors and learn about the technologies used by them in their innovative products.
