LinkedIn shares Survey of 25 Best Companies to work for in India, all details inside

New Delhi (India), 20th April 2023: According to LinkedIn, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has been named the greatest place to work in India this year, followed by Amazon and Morgan Stanley. The top 25 locations to work in India were listed on the professional social media platform.

Notably, the list is built on “eight pillars that have been shown to lead to career progression, such as the ability to advance”. These standards cover things like the potential for advancement, skill development, business stability, outside opportunities, corporate affinity, gender diversity, educational background, and employee presence in the nation.

Out of 25 brand names, 17 new ones have made the list. Companies from the e-sports and gaming industries, such as Dream11 and Games24x7, reached the list for the first time. The 16th place on this list is held by Zepto, which was also included in LinkedIn’s Top Startups of the Year list.

The survey also finds that computer security, robotics, software testing, and artificial intelligence (AI) are among the capabilities that employers in the technology sector are searching for in candidates. Companies in the financial industry are looking for workers with expertise in commercial banking, financial accounting, and growth strategies.

Recruiters are looking for abilities like Partner Development and Inside Sales in the gaming and EduTech industries, to name a few. There is an increasing demand for industrial design and game development, according to LinkedIn.

These top 25 businesses are heavily focusing on hiring for positions in the fields of engineering, consulting, product management, business development, sales, customer success, design, finance, and operations.

As for the places where these businesses are based and wanting to attract people, Bengaluru has emerged as the top spot. Cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Pune are next.

The LinkedIn Career Expert and India Managing Editor, Nirajita Banerjee, also offered advice to job seekers. These include doing your homework on the company, acting with honesty and integrity, showing that you mean what you say, being curious, picking up skills that are in demand, and persevering.
