Locals torch vehicles after college manager gets shot
The Dankaur police station was mobbed on Friday evening by local residents protesting the killing of the 55-year-old manager of the degree college. Locals resorted to arson after they were dissatisfied with the response of cops while demanding immediate arrest of the assailants.
Police said the victim, Manmohan Goyal, was shot four times in the market. He succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital where he was taken after the incident. Police have made no arrests in the case, but a manhunt has been launched for the accused.
