On Second day of their study tour of six member delegation of Indian MPs.

Met British Energy Minister NICK HURD In his chambers at 1, Victoria Street and deliberated on Indo-British Bilateral Exchanges on Renewable Energy.

Mr Nick, himself activist of Climate Concerns detailed on British initiative to reduce Carbon in daily life.

Rapolu said, the impending visit of UK PM Theresa May will enhance our engagement in Climate Action and Renewable Energy, with which, Mr Nick fully concurred.

At Westminster Palace in British Parliament, Held Round Table with Fellow MPs of UK, of which Virendra Sharma of Indian Origin also present and received Indian MPs warmly.

Need of policy connect on Climate Action was mutually appreciated.

Rapolu mentioned about the composition of both Indian and British Delegations of MPs, as Complete since Indian side is of ruling BJP, Congress and others where as British side is composed of ruling Conservative besides Labour and Liberal Democratic. This unison is required for concerted efforts, Rapolu said.

At prestigious pwc complex, had meeting with Solar Trade Leaders. They have also made their interest known for Indian needs and ready long term large investments. Though Energy Sector poised for attraction but external factors within the country are stumbling and needs to be addressed.

Rapolu highlighted in that meeting, Power Grid Connectivity and Energy Evacuation Capacities were greatly improved in India and those needs to be taken into consideration while making assessment about India, on which, the participants concurred.

At historic British Parliament Central Lobby, Rapolu paid homage to the memory of Global Democracy Emancipators.
