New Delhi, 13th July 2023: Tamannaah, who just appeared in Lust Stories 2, has joined Nikkhil Advani’s upcoming directorial film Vedaa. John Abraham will play the lead role in the film.
Sharvari and Abhishek Banerjee are also set to play important roles in the film. Tamannaah posted two photos to her Instagram account. The first includes John Abraham, Tamannaah, and director Nikkhil Advani all smiling for the camera. Tamannaah also posted a photo of herself with Nikkhil Advani.
In the caption, Tamannaah wrote, “Thrilled and grateful to embark on this exciting new journey with the #Vedaa family for a very special role! Can’t wait to work alongside this amazing cast and crew.”
Director Nikkhil Advani commented about the latest update of the film on his Instagram feed, sharing the same set of images. Nikkhil Advani believes that with Tamannaah on board, “the stakes just got higher” for his film.
The director wrote in his caption, “Team #Vedaa is privileged to have the wonderful and effervescent Tamannaahspeaks join the cast for a special, pivotal role…The stakes just got bigger!!”
Vedaa is a high-octane action drama set to be released in 2024. The film’s production has just begun in Rajasthan.
Tamannaah has made headlines for both her personal and business lives. Recently, the Baahubali actor appeared in the Netflix anthology Lust Stories 2 alongside Vijay Varma whom she is dating.
Tamannaah’s next film will be, Jailer, in which she will co-star with Rajinikanth. The first music from the film ‘Kaavaalaa’ was released a few days ago, and fans are still buzzing about Tamannaah’s incredible dances in the song.
On the other hand, Nikkhil Advani has directed magnio films such as Kal Ho Naa Ho, Salaam-e-Ishq, and Chandni Chowk to China. He also produced Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway, a film starring Rani Mukerji.
